Back Pain? Neck Pain? Both?

Research studies are a way for people to work together with researchers to figure out ways to tackle pain. By volunteering, participants can learn new things to help them cope with their own pain. Participants also provide important information that can help make pain programs more effective and accessible to other people in the future.

The goal of this study is to assess two different pain programs that have been developed with community member input. Both programs are done in groups and include watching educational videos, learning some exercises, setting goals, talking to others and doing workbook activities.

You may be eligible to participate in the Partners4Pain study if you:

  • Have back or neck pain (or both) for at least 3 months
  • Are a member of a minoritized racial or ethnic group (for example American Indian, Alaska Native, Asian, Black, Hispanic/Latino, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander)

OR

  • Have a household income of less than $50,000/year
